Based on the consultation we provide a cost estimate for the next steps — including a fixed price for the detailed on-site survey, with every available alternative (biological treatment, dredging, geotextile, combinations) clearly laid out.

Survey, knowledge base, maintenance concepts
On your order we visit the site: we perform measurements and sampling, build a knowledge base on the state of the water body, and hand over priced maintenance concepts with every necessary alternative and fixed prices.

Carrying out the agreed works
On your order we carry out the agreed works and do everything we can to reach the agreed goals. During and after implementation we continue with ongoing expert advice — monitoring, optimization, annual review.

Do we have to drain the water body before treatment?
No. We apply treatment in situ — in a fully filled lake / basin, while fish live normally and the plant operates normally.
Is the treatment safe for fish and the ecosystem?
Yes. Our methodology is based on biological treatment that strengthens microbial communities naturally present in healthy water bodies.
How long until we see results?
First visible effects (odour reduction, water clarity) in 6–10 weeks. Measurable parameter change: 4–6 months. Ecosystem stabilization: 12–18 months.
What if the treatment fails?
We investigate the root cause. If we can adjust our techniques to make them more effective, we provide compensatory treatments and propose new technologies — at no extra charge.
How much does a typical annual treatment cost?
We can give a quick cost estimate, but without knowing the specifics it would be irresponsible to throw out generic numbers. After the free online consultation and on-site survey you receive a precise, fixed quote.
Do you work outside Serbia?
Yes. EFS Bioremedia DOO operates primarily in Serbia, while through our parent Iszapfaló Kft. we typically also work in Hungary, Slovakia and Austria.
